Flawless Tier 1 Go-Live with TBO4 and Oracle ERP

Go-Live with TBO4 and Oracle ERP

Taking a Tier 1 logistics operation live is notoriously complex. Yet, The RIC Group (TRG) team recently achieved another massive milestone: a successful, full-scale TBO4 Warehouse Management System (WMS) Go-Live for a major enterprise client, seamlessly integrated with Oracle ERP.

This latest achievement further strengthens TRG's proven track record, marking yet another successful Tier 1 enterprise deployment in our portfolio.

By replacing paper-based legacy chaos with digital execution, the project proved that a best-of-breed WMS can handle massive complexity while delivering immediate, measurable ROI.

Complex Architecture, Seamless Integrations

To keep data flowing effortlessly across a high-velocity ecosystem, the TRG team constructed a robust, dual-directional data loop. The workflow architecture maps critical data seamlessly from REST API endpoints to Oracle middleware, directly into TBO4, and back again.

Because TBO4 is a best-of-breed WMS, it allowed for sophisticated, complex floor workflows to be mapped alongside crucial external integrations:

  • Integrated Freight: Automated shipping data handshakes with Border Express.
  • 3rd Party Broker Connectivity: Streamlined customs and cross-border logistics.
  • EDI & Retail Compliance: Native Bunnings integration for automated advanced packing slips (ASN) and compliant retail labeling.

Scaling Floor Operations

The deployment successfully transformed day-to-day workflows for well over 30 active floor users, introducing advanced functionality that empowers the warehouse to clear 300+ complex enterprise orders per day.

Key enhancements included inbound container tracking, advanced putaway logic, and real-time receipt from production—all communicating instantly back to the central Oracle ERP.

The Ultimate Proof: Zero Hidden Costs

The true test of an enterprise rollout is its impact on the bottom line. Following the deployment, the client’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) highlighted the immediate financial success of the transition:

"We have encountered exactly zero double picks, and we haven't had to deal with a single piece of costly return freight. This has been an incredibly effective, highly productive Go-Live where we've experienced no hidden or unexpected costs."

Why TRG? Quick User Adoption & Pride in Success

Our core philosophy focuses on quick, smart user adoption to guide teams safely through digital transformations. Through our dedicated, hands-on Hypercare support, our team worked shoulder-to-shoulder with floor operators to iron out early friction. Today, the warehouse team has taken full, confident control of their automated facility.

Because TRG's bespoke WMS projects are supported directly by the specialized team that designs and develops the enhancements, we bring an unmeasurable level of pride and success to every single customer.
