Nature One Dairy is a 100% Australian-owned company dedicated to producing only the highest quality powdered milk products. They produce a range of dairy products specifically designed for every age group ranging from infants to the elderly and everything in-between.

Nature One Dairy realised that due to their growth they were going to need some serious upgrades to their ERP and Warehouse Management Solution to ensure they were able to obtain the high level of service their clients came to expect.

The business was growing and so did the need for a system with more functionality. Masie from Nature One Dairy stated ‘the ability for our platforms to scale accordingly is a must. We decided to tackle this problem head on, and early.’

Best of Breed WMS for Acumatica

Acumatica has released REST as the preferred API method. The new REST API builds on top of the contract-based API, and allows you to access the endpoints and entities configured in Acumatica in a RESTful manner.

The RIC Group's Warehouse Management Solution now uses the new REST API for Acumatica and MYOB Advanced. Data in REST calls is typically formatted in JSON, which is very lightweight and easy to generate and parse from Javascript and other new languages and frameworks.

Using the preferred API method from Acumatica ensures our WMS is leveraging the latest in technology to be real-time and uses a browser based front end so the users can use any device such as rugged PDA or tablet device. There is no doubt the landscape is changing for ISVs in the marketplace and they have to be prepared to use the latest technology from the Vendor including using the latest API methodology to safeguard your investment
