SBO4 PDA supports HANA20/7/2016 The RIC Group is shortly releasing our SBO4 PDA for SAP Business One HANA. All the functions on the PDA such as scan pick and pack, goods receiving, stock transfers, bin transfers, stocktaking, proof of delivery and run management are all working with the SAP Business One HANA environment. It uses the SAP Service Layer to integrate with the HANA database. Please note that our SBO4 PDA works with SAP Business One HANA on all environments, such as On Premises and On Cloud.
There is no doubt that The RIC Group's WMS is the Smart WMS. Our WMS uses SAP Business One's Pick and Pack manager to release the picks and create pick ID's. These pick ID's are then picked up on the RF Scanners and allow the users to pick the correct items lead by bin location. If they wish to change the bin location they can by scanning the correct bin locations. Our WMS has always used the Pick and Pack Manager from SAP Business One. If you are using HANA with SAP Business One please speak to us on 03 9545 0404 or [email protected] and we will happily send you through information. Processes such as scan picking and packing, goods receiving, stock tranfers and stocktaing are made efficient and accurate with a WMS Solution.
The next part to a WMS is now having the ability to integrate with Freight. This now becomes a Supply Chain Solution. If you are implementing a Warehouse Management Solution and it doesn't have the ability to integrate with your Freight Carrier such as Startrack, Toll, eParcel, IFS, UPS, Fedex, then you are not going to gain all the efficiencies you should. Having your ERP integrate with your Freight Carrier is no longer relevant. To gain full efficiencies it is now imperative that your Warehouse Management Solution does this so the complete solution is streamlined. If your WMS is only offering WMS with no freight integration then this is only 70% of the solution that you need to be competitive in today's market. Having the freight integration with your WMS, means that your warehouse team can print the right labels for the cartons or pallets straight away, have the manifest for the drivers automatically produced and have the correct freight charge on the invoice for your customer instantly. At The RIC Group we have implemented Warehouse Management Solution with Freight integration for SAP Business One, Sage 300, MYOB AccountRight Live, MYOB EXO and MYOB Advanced users. Upon opening the Credit Returns feature, the user will be requested to enter the invoice number that is to be credited. If the invoice is valid, the invoice lines will appear on the PDA device displaying the Invoice Quantity.
The user can then scan the barcodes of the product and the item code displayed on the PDA device will increment the quantity to credit. If the items were serial or batch tracked, the SBO4 PDA software will pull the serial numbers or batch numbers that were used on that exact invoice. Once the user completes the credit return process on the PDA device, the A/R Credit memo document will be automatically created in SAP Business One for the selected invoice. For further information on this feature please email us at [email protected] |
