Proof of delivery on Android

We have released XBO4 our proof of delivery solution for Android and it is starting to make inroads around the world. Built on the cross platform development infrastructure Xamarin XBO4 provides a comprehensive proof of delivery platform for interfacing to ERP's such as SAP Business One, MYOB Advanced, Acumatica, MYOB EXO, Sage 300 and also MYOB AccountRight Live.

New features have been released into our proof of delivery solution such as GPS tracking. This is all interfaced with our Browser Based WMS screen which allows the management team to see where their drivers are while on the road. From here there is the ability to produce a delivery run and then also a manifest for the drivers. All signatures and photos can be viewed through our Warehouse Management Solution interface.

The proof of delivery solution can also track which cartons have been scanned at the customer for delivery. So the labels your team produces at the time of picking the products for the customer are then scanned at delivery for the customer. This ensures there is complete SSCC logistical tracking for our customers.

Accurate management of logistics operations for Medical Access Uganda

Medical Access Uganda is a not-for-profit organisation based in Kampala, Uganda specialises in the provision of supply chain management services for pharmaceutical products and health commodities in Africa.

Medical Access Uganda implemented SAP Business One and engaged with The RIC Group to implement a new technology solution for improved signature capture, scanning capabilities and proof of delivery.

The RIC Group's proof of delivery solution was implemented coupled with Zebra MC 67 devices which could run on the 3G networks. Medical Access Uganda has now seen significant benefits which include real time deliveries at site and preventing commodity loss.

Dennis the IT Manager at Medical Access Uganda states The RIC Group's technical support team is prompt and the support team is very knowledgeable about the SAP Business One integration points of Proof of Delivery and WMS.

As phase two of the project Medical Access Uganda are now implementing The RIC Group's Warehouse Management Solution for SAP Business One to achieve more productivity gains with technology solutions.

A platform for sustainable growth for GJS

GJS Group is Australia’s premier provider of solutions and services for the textile, promotional products, customer photo gift, sign and display industries. They have been running SAP Business One since 2012 and wanted to streamline processes further to improve efficiency.

To maximise operational effectiveness at GJS Group they implemented The RIC Group’s Warehouse Management Solution. Greg Stone, Managing Director at GJS states the reason for selecting The RIC Group’s WMS is it is Australian made software with ongoing product enhancements which integrates seamlessly into their existing SAP Business One environment.

When asked about return on investment, Greg from GJS said “Since implementation we’re seeing a 77% reduction in costs associated with missing / misplaced stock in the warehouse. We have been able to employ a new warehouse store person and temporary staff during peak periods who have no prior knowledge of our products who learnt the software very quickly reducing our induction costs.”

Acumatica 2018 R2 release

Acumatica is the connected business platform empowering small and mid-market customers to transform their business by putting customer success at the heart of all their operations. One of the greatest features Acumatica has is its flexible deployment model. The models available are SAAS Solution with its public cloud on AWS, Licensed on Premise, Licensed in Datacentre (private cloud). Acumatica 2018 R2 release is here and has significant improvements. One of the significant improvements is the REST API Improvements and this makes us really excited at The RIC Group. We are now starting our certification of our Warehouse Management Solution with Acumatica 2018 R2 which allows us to use Contract Version 3. Here is a blog on the Acumatica Development Network to talk about the new release for Contract Version 3.

The REST API is the preferred API method and with this our customers will see advantages with our WMS. Data in REST calls is typically formatted in JSON, which is very lightweight and easy to generate and parse from Javascript and other new languages and frameworks. Innovation is key and our team leverages the latest in technology with our Warehouse Mangement Solution.
