CeMAT 201829/7/2018 The RIC Group participated in CeMAT 2018 on the Cipherlab stand. The exhibition ran for three full days from July 24th to July 26th. We were able to exhibit our Warehouse Management Solution and capabilities to a domestic and international audience. It was a fantastic opportunity to see the latest industry innovations and to exchange ideas and insights on the warehouse of the future.  Our WMS has now been released with its latest feature of receiving for production for SAP Business One users. This allows users now to use the Warehouse Management Solution to capture the receipt for production as soon as the goods come off the production line. As soon as the user captures the quantity they can press complete and it will create the receipt to production within SAP Business One. One of the biggest advantages with using our WMS for capturing each receipt for production there is a date and time stamp. Power BI can then be used to capture important KPI reports such as many pallets off one line has been produced for a day or how many receipt for productions have been captured by a user. Prior to The RIC Group’s WMS, the growing picking operation was run through a legacy system which relied on a lot manual processes and did not have any integration with SAP Business One. Chromagen continues to grow the business by increasing the volume of work via existing and new customers. The increase work meant finding an alternative to a separate scanning solution without integration to SAP Business One. After looking at the market place, The RIC Group was identified as an industry-respected solution. The RIC Group’s Warehouse Management solution (WMS) is able to track products as they enter the warehouse and scan and automate picking to speed up the overall fulfilment process. A great competitive advantage The RIC Group offered over the other solutions was it was organic with SAP Business One. Allowing Chromagen to use Pick Pack Manager to release Sales Orders, using the bin structure within SAP Business One. All information such as serial numbers captured by the WMS is sent straight into SAP Business One and the delivery document is automatically created. Goods Issue & Goods Receipt6/7/2018 Our Warehouse Management Solution has now been released with the feature of Goods Issue and Goods Receipt for SAP Business One users. With the Inventory Tab the users can now have the features of Stock Adjustments In and Stock Adjustments Out. The flexibility we have added is the ability for the user to select the different General Ledger accounts which are setup in SAP Business One. Once the user completes the Stock Adjustment In or Stock Adjustment Out using the Warehouse Management Solution and press complete it will go and automatically create the Goods Issue or Goods Receipt in SAP Business One. With the functions as well the user can add multiple products to the one Goods Issue or Goods Receipt. They can also select different GL accounts for each product line in the Goods Issue or Goods Receipt.   |
