Moving to Best-of-Breed WMS

The survey from Zebra called Warehousing 2020 shows that succeeding in the new supply chain paradigm calls for shortening merchandise delivery time and slashing transportation costs. These are the core reasons to move to the smart warehouse.

There is huge growth of e-commerce in the retail sector and warehouses must adapt to the flood of online orders. These initiatives reflect the move to best-of-breed Warehouse Management Systems and also Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) which will replace legacy operations.

One of the biggest reasons to upgrade to a best-of-breed WMS is for real-time data and enabling staff to fill orders more efficiently.
