A successful WMS is a helpful one

Primepac is a leading manufacturer & distributor of industrial suppliers & packaging products. They currently have warehouses in Auckland and Christchurch and use MYOB EXO as their ERP system.

To maximise operational effectiveness at Primepac the business implemented The RIC Group’s Warehouse Management Solution with Multi-bin for MYOB EXO at both warehouse locations. Samuel Walton, Finance Manager at Primepac states one of the reasons for selecting The RIC Group’s WMS is it integrates seamlessly into MYOB EXO and has ongoing product enhancements.

When asked about return on investment, Samuel from Primepac said “Since implementation we’re seeing a reduction in costs associated with missing / misplaced stock in the warehouse now that we have the feature of bin control. We have also been using The RIC Group’s TMS solution which has provided us with route planning and proof of delivery.”

The WMS and TMS solution is browser based which has allowed Primepac to deploy Samsung tablets mounted to the trolleys for the picking and putaway process. It allows the user to clearly see the products due to the bigger real estate on the screen.
