ASN / EDI with Acumatica and MYOB ADvanced and Intelligent Cloud Insights

When companies are using a Warehouse Management Solution with Acumatica or MYOB Advanced one of the requirements could be to produce advanced shipping notice (ASN). The customer must have full flexibility of selecting the VAN (Value Added Network) and EDI provider they prefer to work with. This is part of the multi-cloud world.

Businesses who embrace the multi-cloud world are setup for success. It is really important for the customer when looking at best of breed solutions to see if that solution has an API. Our API for our WMS allows us to connect with different applications anywhere and use oAuth 2.0 for security.

An ERP system truly is the system of record for a business. This is why that the WMS must integrate with the ERP and send back the information of SSCC label, which items were packed into which box, weight of the cartons or pallet. In today's digital economy all records must be in the ERP system. You can't have a WMS not sending vital information to the ERP.

One of the recurring themes we have when implementing our Warehouse Management Solution is about insights into what is happening in the warehouse. This is where we have Intelligent Cloud Insights. We use Power BI for real time Business Intelligence reporting and give customers the flexibility with our Open API to complete reporting using our WMS database and the ERP system. This ensures our customers have all the information what is happening in the warehouse or warehouses in real time without limitations.

​Please refer to the picture below where our Intelligent WMS is updating Acumatica with the items into the package. This allows customers to know which item have been packed into which box. Then from here our WMS is updating the Custom Reference Field Number 1. From here the end point is created for the ASN.
