TRG donating to charity

Over the last couple of years The RIC Group (TRG) has made a conscious effort to give back to the community and donate some profits to charity. One of our tasks as a team was to come up with a goal that would be achievable and that the team at The RIC Group would be happy to be apart of. From here we needed to decide on which charity.

The TRG team concluded that Backpack Beds for Homeless was the right choice to donate too. So far the goal for TRG has been to purchase one backpack bed per quarter. I am pleased to say that we have been achieving this over the last couple of years, and have now started to exceed our goals we set out two years ago. For this quarter we have donated two Backpack Beds and are pleased to say that with exceeding our goals and we are now pleased to say that our new goal will be to keep donating two Backpack Beds per quarter.

Over 40,000 Aussies sleep on the streets and up to 80% of homeless people are turned away from shelter. Over 21% of Australia's street sleeping homeless have suffered hypothermia, frostbite or trenchfoot.

The team at TRG are extremely happy to be involved and are passionate to help spread the awareness about the homeless crisis here in Australia.
